I use this pedestrian crossing frequently . To access the park and Whitchurch with my grandson and a pushchair would be impossible

I don't know of any accidents that have happened on this crossing it's a very useful passage of way for many things It's absolutely ridiculous to want to close it.

Please keep the crossing open, my wife & I regularly use it as the shortest route to Caedelyn Park to watch rugby or for recreational walks.l also cycle that way to Whitchurch village & to go to the Dentist, etc.

My son lives near the library in whitchurch and I frequently use the crossing as I live on heol y deri and it is the most direct route. Closing this crossing would make the walk longer and more inconvenient. As a senior citizen with mobility difficulties this would cause me a great deal of difficulty. There are many people in the same position as me. Better to walk than drive which I would need to do if this crossing is closed

If the path is closed, it will cause havoc. There is no good reason to put the residents and pupils to such trouble. A safe path being closed will result in illegal useage and more likelihood of an accident.

Slow moving train, only one train runs along track. Easy to see train and the perfect crossing for teaching children about rail safety. NB married to BTP officer.

Please keep crossing open for push chairs, wheelchairs, bikes, elderly and me so I don't have to go long way round!

No logical reason to close this facility. I use it often as do many others with no problems.

This railway crossing is an important access to Caedelyn Park and one which I use every day. The speed of the trains is very low and they are only every half hour. It is health and safety for the sake of it. No known accidents?

As far as I know there has never been an incident at this crossing. Why close it? H+SAWA etc 1974 demands that what can reasonably be done is done. That has been achieved by the alterations to the gates and footway. SO WHY CLOSE IT?

I was born and bred in Whitchurch, 70 years ago. I can only recall one accident in that time ( which was nothing to do with the crossing). It is in constant use, why close it?

This is used by many myself included. Closing the crossing would cut off the park for bike users.
