This is a sad case of a school used as pawns in a political game between higher ups at NMPED and the former head administrator. The NMPED has violated the state audit act twice- once in August and again last month. This was done by releasing audit information before being made public by the state auditor. Unfortunately, our students, families, and staff members find themselves as innocent bystanders in this very ugly one-side game. At the end of the day, the most harm will have been done to those most undeserving of this political backlash.

La peomesa es una exelente escuela que como dice el nombre,promete mucho para nuestros hijos, y decramos tener la oportunidad. De que continuen desarrollandose en la promesa, una escuela bilingüe y con mucho potencial.

La promesa is a really good school, a good working environment, an it has a great staff who really works hard teaching our kids; its hard to believe the actions of a person can affect an entire school community, lets leave the past behind an concentrate in the future

I ask that you consider the improvements that have been made to improve LPELC. We are working hard to make sure that our children are well educated and this is the school that we are sure is where they will get that education. Thank you and please consider letting LPELC keep it's charter.

My 2 Grandson's go there and they love it, please don't close it especially when schools not over.

Well I love this school since my sons have been going to this school they have learned a lot especially because they teach him how to be bilingual and now days bilingual is good start for anybody to be so please keep this school going thanks

I love this do it's done so much for my kids now they even know Spanish n all they New was English. They have learned so much n I thank them very much

Please keep our school open. I have 2 children at the promesa a 8th and a 4th grader student they both very advance on English and Spanish. I'm very excited about this. Especially leaving in new Mexico is crucial to be bilingual... (una persona que habla 2 idiomas vale por 2...)

This school is the school my daughter chooses to attend & we are in agreement with her to continue at La Promesa. I have been a good witness as to all the positive progression within this school and I will continue to do everything in my will and power to fight to keep this school open. The school is more than just a school, we are a FAMILY!!

My daughter has been with this school for six years, my son has 3 years. They both started here. The English/ Spanish teaching is awesome. My children do very well in both languages. The staff is great they know the parents and the students, they are very good with keeping me up to date with my children's education. My family snd I have watched this school grow it's come a long way we would hate for it to close. Please don't punish the staff and especially the students just because of one person's actions. Thank you .
