This is a vital service for very many families. It' is at the heart of this little community. Isn't a small local school the least we should be able to expect for our children?

My son Peter has completely transformed during his time at Eccles from a child who really stuggled with every element of schooling ( due to his complex needs of PDD-NOS, ADHD, Anxiety and ASD) into a bright young man who can join in with everything, and is on target to achieve level 5 in his SATS. I cannot thank Eccles enough for everything they have done, and continue to do. I would hate to see the school close and leave pupils like Peter with no realistic mainstream provision. It will be a real loss to the community should it close.

My 2 children go to this school and they will be very sad to see it close they have come so far at this school and my son alfie was so behind that they gave him the time and he has come on so well and they helped me with him that he could have autism where the other school just told me he was a naughty child it a small school yes but that suits our children

This is a fantastic rural school . My children received excellent education from the school . Primary school places are getting less and less , and this school serves the local rural communities. It would serve no purpose to close this school down.

156 years ago this school opened in Eccles. The local authority are undertaking a statutory consultation process for the local community, seeking their views on the closure of eccles, hargham and wilby cofe va primary school. For those of us with children at the school, this is a very distressing time and we are fighting for the school to remain open. We feel very strongly that the school is at the heart of the local community and MUST remain so.. Your support- no matter how small you may think it is- will be vital in our battle to keep our beautiful school open.My 2 Great Grandchildren go to this school and being an old lady i love the fact there are still schools like this is fantastic its small and friendly and there not alot off schools out there like this and it would be sad to see it go

this school helps children who have needs that require delicate handeling it would be a shame to see the dedicated teachers & pupils have to leave such a well loved school.

Seems very short-sighted to close a school that is offering children of all abilities a very good education when other local schools can't take any more pupils on.

my little boy has come on leaps and bounds since started eccles in September and he has settled in so well I just hope we can keep the school open for him to come even further with his speech and social skills

The school is a fantastic resource for the local rural community and it would discriminate against local children and parents who are unable travel further afield. It is also important for the local community to keep this school open to provide a focus for local families and ensure children do not have to be shipped to other schools miles away. It is also important to consider future building developments and secure educational resources for new families moving into the area.

this is an excellent school with close links to the village and church.Because of its size it can nuture the children especially those with special needs to their full potential and who otherwise would not cope in a big school.More importantly is this is a church of england school and we should be opening more not closing the few that are left.
