St Lawrence County and Ogdensburg NY especially need these prisons to stay open as this area is economically dependent upon the jobs they provide this City and the County. This county is one of the worst financially in the state. Do not close these prisons as the trickle down effect would be devastating for our area, businesses would close forcing even more people on welfare or to leave the state to look for work elsewhere.
