It is unfortunate Denis is being reassigned. This decision is not in the best interest of the children. I hope they will reconsider.

My son spent three years at PAL summer camp. He's been to others and this was his favorite because of Officer Dennis Lopez! He took his time and patience with my child, whom has ADHD, and taught him how to be a respectful young man. Officer Lopez is a perfect fit for this program. I can't thank him enough for all he has done.

Youth programs need people with passion and the courage to actually do it, all the while sacrificing personal time with family and loved ones. This program needs Denis Lopez and all the work he puts in.

Denis Lopez is simply the best. I've known him for seven years. He gives his heart and soul to PAL. The kids deserve a mentor like him. It would be a HUGE loss if you replaced him. Please do the right thing and keep Denis at PAL where he can continue to mold the kids and be a mentor for all of the youth who come through the program.

I met Officer Denis Lopez three years ago at Pal and he has been a great role model to me and my family. He has helped me and my family more than I can ever repay. When I think of Pal I think of Denis. Please bring him back!!!!

I've known officer lopez for more than 25 years, and he is a great role model both at work and at home. My son attended PAL for two summers, and keeps asking to go back. Officer lopez has been instrumental in the mentoring of many kids, and should remain at PAL.

Whatever bureaucratic stuff has caused his reassignment does not have the children's best interest at heart!!

This will be a huge mistake!! To take away a person who has dedicated his time energy and above all heart to these children would be a huge loss for not only the children but for PAL as well !!!!I have participated in the sporting events and and PAL over the summer and have seen first hand his dedication and would truly be shocked that TPD would not reconsider to do what is best for the children!!! After all isn't that what PAL is all about ???

Cut back on free handouts to non working healthy individuals... Not a bunch of kids who desire athletics and not so much..." The Machines" that promote premature arthritis of the thumb!!!!
