The village is big enough as it is. With new houses being built the village infrastructure won't be able to cope with the extra traffic etc. An absolutely terrible proposal motivated by greed.

I run and walk up there on a daily basis and I strongly oppose this deal. The school and it's governors should be aware that they are compromising relations with the local community.

strongly oppose. The school would not have become an academy if there was any long term problem with its current building or site. This build is not needed and will be the beginning of the end for our lovely village.

I am strongly against this development on Hopwell Estate. How can it even be considered?Once all our beautiful countryside is built on it is gone for ever. A very tragic day for the Ockbrook community if this unnecessary development goes ahead.

NO to any development which will encroach into the existing green belt area. The Ridings is far too narrow to allow any further development hence buses some years ago stopped using this particular route through the village!
