When I lived in NC, we had a houseboat there. My family loved being out there. It made the bond between my family stronger than it already was. Amazing place, don't need to be changed.

Please use common sense in protecting the rights of all of us that own floating coattages. For approximately 50+ years Tva has set a precedence in excepting and allowing these recreational cottages to remain on Norris Lake. The Marinas and Merchants have gladly taken our monies that tva receives a portion of on a annual bases. So we plead with tva to clean up and enforce safety standards that protects all of us that chooses to recrelate on Norris Lake.

It not right only the rich and wealthly can afford to enjoy the lakes. They have taken all right away in most states. There the ones behind this movement!

I think floating homes should be monitored and charged a TVA tax or fee for being on TVA waters.

It's ridiculous to deny the opportunity to enjoy our lakes from one of these floating homes. TVA please stick to power generation & flood control, neither of which is effected by these nostalgic rest retreats.

Boats are way more harmful to the lake ecosystem than houseboats.

The rights of people seam to becoming lesser earned and more stolen. There seems to more how can they contaminate pure community efforts for how much money they can get. It seems not what they can do to help but what they do to destroy communities.

Some people can't afford a million dollar house on the lake, please leave these affordable boat houses alone.
