Instead of getting rid of the house boats all together, they should just have stricter regulations on waste and management. Look for solutions to solve the problems, not just get rid of the house boats. There are solutions to solve all the problems, and still be able to keep the house boats.

It's just not right to take away someone's home weather it be weekend, summer or whatever! The government is getting to be more of a bully than anything!

Theses people are needed there just like the rest of us on the water. Just like everything in this world there's always someone that will make a bad thing out of a good situation. So regulating what is out there would be the best thing not to remove them in a 20 year span. I have many friends with floating houses and they're all good people why do you want to take a good thing away from them. Thank you very much!!

Please remove the stipulation to remove floating houses in 20 years, particularly omit those numbers issued pre-1987.

Very strong supporter to keep 4F houses (other TVA issued house numbers grandfathered pre-1978 also).

A successful negotiation is one where both sides win. Sure seems greedy if in the end one side gets all they wanted and leaves the other side with no future.

This is a very poverty stricken area. We get jammed with tourist every year. Just so we can keep the economy going in our little town. Having a boat house and being on the lake is all there is to do as a local. To escape all the tourists, and have a place to relax with the family. We already don't have much possesions as it is. Don't take our one enjoyment away. I can understand wanting to keep the lake clean, having standards, and criteria every boat house needs to meet. At least just get everyone up to code or remove the ones that won't. Then grandfather in the house boats that meet the rules. Please don't take this away from us!!!!

It would be an economic disaster for these homes to be removed. Here we see government at its best!

It's ashame that the TVA is no different than what the Obama administration is, an overreach of power and hypocrites.
