It would be a shame to Sunset these houses when the TVFHA and all State and Local communities are willing to compromise so the TVA's concerns are met and the FH owners do not lose their investments. I hope the board is Fair and just when they vote on Thursday.

Please leave the boats on the lakes, some of them have fond memories from generations of families having them there for them to enjoy whenever possible

I have grown up on Norris Lake. It is a way of life. My parents took me to the lake. We stayed on a houseboat. Now I stay at Norris Lake and bring my kids and grandkids. Norris lake is a great place, but removing a part of what has been on Norris for my entire lifetime is like removing a piece of history. Floating homes have been and should always be part of Norris Lake.

This is ludicrous. There is no way that you can show that a well maintained unit is harmful in any way.
I would like to know which lobbyist group is pushing this. I live on Chickamauga and love these.

Please keep the Floating Homes on Norris Lake. Not only do they represent a large portion of income into the local economy, but they provide a great lifestyle, seasonal living and mini vacations for owners as well as renters. As in many areas of life, the good far out-weighs the bad. The majority of owners maintain their homes to high standards and respect the lake. The owners who don't, are the units which you need to address. Please "Don't Punish The Masses" for the errors of the "Very Limited Few!"

I do not own a floating house. I believe they add to the beauty, positive economic impact and quality of life to those of us that utilize the lakes.

Leave the homes on the lakes alone. They have been there for decades without any issue before, until "big brother" decided that once again "THEY" know what's best for society. These homes are part of the community and have provided countless days/weeks/years of enjoyment for those fortunate enough to have access to them.

There should not be an issue with the floating homes that are in good and proper condition. The owners of these properties love their time there.

I think the pre 78 boats should be grandfathered in, if some builts a boat after that make them meet specs and have all boats pay a registration fee like other boat owners

The revenue that would be lost that these homes and their occupants supply to the Marinas and the state of Tennessee would be enormous!

All floating homes in compliance with fair regulations should be allowed to stay. Forever!
