Keep Non-navigable Houseboats and Floating Houses on TVA Reservoirs!

This piece of legislation is rediculious!!! Personally I don't have a floating house but I know people who do. They have a lot of money invested in them. Lakes are made to produce energy, waters sources and recreation for those who live around them. Banning floating houses takes away people's right of the pursuit of happiness. If you want to ban them, the right way to do it is to grandfather those already on the water and ban new ones. Then in 50 years there won't be any on the lakes.

It would be a tragedy to lose these floating homes!

My family has spent many wonderful times on my sister's floating home. I think the proposed changes are unfair. Hopefully TVA will reconsider.

i think they should be able to keep what they have already and not have to move it or remove it and it cost them a fortune

This is not change I can believe in.

I am not a floating home owner. However, I am a resident of Campbell County and have enjoyed Norris Lake all of my life. The simple solution is checking and regulating the waste system in these floating homes.

I am not an owner of a floating home, but I see no reason to get rid of the them, displacing those who live there.

We have a floating cottage on Norris Lake. We use it for our enjoyment and for our family & friends who visit us. We worked many years to be able to see a dream come true. Please don't destroy our dream.

These are lovely floating homes, and we'll maintained by the owners. I had the pleasure of being a guest on a float house. They are not in the way. Let them continue to be where they are.
