I believe TVA should set some guidelines but to attemp to remove built house boats is beyond their authority

Government doesn't have the right to take the people's home away from them and expect the people to pay for it. That is a tyrannical premise and America is not a tyranny.

We lived in LaFollette TN for 7 years, had to move back to south GA (job transfer) but during the time we lived their, we had a floating home on Norris lake, a lot of fond memories ..... Had it not been for the lake life we loved so much, living there would have been miserable, would love to rent a houseboat in the future for our family vacation, a great place but without the lake life, there would be no reason to return

I am the public. I do not own a floating home. TVA - you need to go back to the drawing board and come up with something that makes sense, like maybe grandfather existing floating houses but no sunset. I think you've overstepped your authority, or maybe you've just outlived your usefulness.

I support your cause, but do not drag navigable boats into this. It will only weaken your support!

To grandfather in all existing compliant non-navigable houseboats and floating houses truly makes common sense. Prevent any new ones to enter or be built and conduct inspections on a schedule and even spot inspections. I support the rights of all non-navigable and floating house boat owners on ALL TVA waterways, lakes or reservoirs.

This is a source for jobs as well as a source of revanue for all local places that surround the docks that has these houses. I know personally a lot of these places were built and bought by coal miners that industry has been taken away don't take away their pleasure time too.

I view this as blatantly unfair to the current owners as well as potential future owners. For the record, I am not a current owner.

TVA, I really can't believe that there is anything that you TVAcould gain except to impose your will on thousand of tax paying citizens who have spent their hard earned money at these marinas only to bring more revenue to the counties in which they are located. But, most of all is the memories that we have spent with friends and family. The Verner's
