Well maintained, safe non-native be houseboats should NOT be removed from the lake. There is no logical reason to do so. I realize that logic is rarely factored into these decisions but try, for a change, to use logic regarding houseboats. Many have existed on this lake since the 1950's...they have been passed on to family members who have lovingly maintained them for generations. Thank you for your consideration in this important matter.

This would be a shame as it will hurt the marinas also. Think about the runabouts and pontoons that are docked at the marina's that these boat owners have to use for transportation. Let these boat owners, their family and friends enjoy our beautiful waters and sunsets!!

I see this as a bad move for the economy in the areas surrounding Norris lake since the majority of houseboats are not factory houseboats.

Let the homeowners who keep their houseboats in good condition continue to use them! Lots of family and friends gather there and memories are made.

Older well maintained structures should be grandfathered. Newer ones not maintained should be the only ones not allowed to remain.
