As a previous owner of three houseboats on Fontana, I support the houseboat owners as well as the business owners whose livelihoods depend on continued presence of the houseboats on the lake.

I have Friends who have had houseboats for years and they are the people who actually have respect and take care of the waters!!!!

Leave the houseboats as they are. I don't own one but I am an avid boater/fisherman and they are not harming anything.

Please continue to allow flouting house boat owners to maintain having the same rights as they currently have for the same duration of time.

these boats are part of history and should be maintained and kept safe ,but not banned. TVA has destroyed so much history just because they think it does not fit they're plans

Absurd. I've been on Norris Lake since 1960 and these " houseboats " have been a staple since then. No need to remove now, and why would you want to ?!

In the summers of my childhood I grew up on a floating houseboat with 7 siblings. Now my siblings all have kids and love to bring them down to the floating house. My parents have continued to improve upon and redesign their floating home to accommodate for all their kids and grandkids to learn, enjoy, and make memories at the place they wish you retire and grow old together: their floating home on Norris Lake. We cannot let these memories not yet made be taken away.

Keep the houseboats on the TVA lakes. This is our heritage. I grew up in Eastern Tennessee and have fond memories of seeing houseboats on Norris and other lakes. It brought the community feeling that exists around the lakes onto the lakes themselves. Why ruin that?

This is our heritage. Please let our children enjoy these houseboats that we enjoyed with our parents and grandparents.

These houseboats are an added revenue to our community. They are well liked by the community and brings enjoyment to so many who don't live on the lake. These homes give those who don't have lake homes the ability to enjoy our lake. These homes are welcomed on Boone Lake!!
