It is very rare to find a fitness instructor that pushes you to your absolute max multiple times a week while also making you (mostly) enjoy every single minute. It is even rarer to find two instructors at the same gym that do that with such professionalism, skill, and good spirit that you find packed classes whenever their name is involved. However, you have just that with Nicole Krempa and Jessica Walsh, instructors at the 86th Street Location of New York Sports Club.

We are a group of individuals that are asking that you transfer Jess and Nicole's classes to other NYSC locations on the Upper East Side. Many of us are willing to cancel our memberships in the event that this does not happen; however, we hope it doesn't come to that. NYSC doesn't have the bells and whistles of other facilities like Equinox, but it does have instructors like Nicole and Jess. If NYSC loses them, we believe it loses the best part of its organization. We are asking that you recognize the 30+ years of combined commitment that these two individuals have dedicated to your organization, as well as the overwhelming desire for them to stay on as instructors by your members.

We firmly believe that if Town Sports International truly cares about the health and well-being of its members, then it will take into account the voices of so many that feel so strongly about continuing their work with Jess and Nicole. We understand that the current facility at 86th and Lex is closing, but request that a great majority of their classes are relocated to the other clubs found on the Upper East Side.
