I've only just opened another account at this branch entirely because it is so convenient. PLEASE do not close it.

Myself and my wife are Natwest customers and it's invaluable being able to go into the store for advice about our account.

This is a tragedy . This bank has served my family since we moved to Sheen in 1956 and I strongly resent it’s closure .

NatWest East Sheen SW14 branch is ALWAYS busy. How will the Richmond branch cope with the extra business from NatWest users?

Thanks for help, Zac. Always so fast into action! Excellent branch with wonderful staff now fearful of unemployment. We are really grateful to all of them - and not to their greedy bosses (with huge multi-million pound salaries and bonuses despite losing £58 billion since 2008 in tax-payer owned bank). They are employed by the taxpayer, yet cut service to customers, when RBS high street banking is profitable! A disgrace - real blow to our small shops, older people, charities, churches and all users of whom - I declare an interest -I am one for nearly 40 years. Chair of bank is Howard Davies, author of the disgraceful Expand Heathrow Report - he was never going to do a favour to Richmond! HE should go - NOT wonderful East Sheen branch

I will be really upset if the back closes its East Sheen branch. It is such an asset to the community and I think is needed here.

So many elderly need the bank to walk in.
How about paying in cheques? Many will be forced to switch banks

I've used this branch personally for over 20 years. It is an essential amenity for the local community. The staff are personable, welcoming and efficient.

Natwest east sheen gives exemplary service to young, old and in between. I use online banking but I still use the branch every week. I really value the advise the professional service and warm and welcoming staff They are an asset to Natwest. If you have any power to influence please keep the branch I have used for over 30 years open. They serve the community and are great ambassadors for NAtwest. So much better than Richmond branch.

I am horrified. I have used this Branch for almost 40 years. It is in the heart of East Sheen and very convenient for my purposes and of many others. Some of the staff have been there for many years and give a welcoming, friendly and personal service as they know their customers. This means so much in today's world where so much is centralised and impersonal. Whilst electronic banking may be convenient for some we must consider all our community. For many elderly people it is a way of getting out to the 'high street' and talking to others. Our local branches are also a convenience for our churches and charities.
We must retain our local branches.
