This is a big step towards disenfranchisement of the elderly and infirm in our community.

It is important that every small community has its fair share of banks to offer important services for all local people, especially the elderly and infirm.

This will be the second bank to go. It was HSBC last year. Barclays are going to close several of their branches that would only leave Santander.

For those people with disabilities who do not bank online or by phone it will prove inconvenient and difficult to get to an alternative.

I agree with Zac about its affect on our senior citizens, also the affect on our community.

I do pray that the decision to close NatWest East Sheen is able to be reversed; and not just because of the great loss it will prove to us all; NatWest East Sheen is the kind of bank, so excellently managed by Nicholas Board, that it should be cloned Nationwide …

Richmond or Putney are both too far for many people, particularly the elderly, to go to their bank. Sheen is a large enough community to warrant a bank.

I strongly Believed that the Nat West should stay in East Sheen to serve our community.

We do need the bank in East Sheen. HSBC’s ,now Nat. West, Chelsea Building Society all shut done. There is no financial services in the area to serve the local residents. Please keep the bank open.

Although i am not with this bank, it definitely puts me off ever moving to it whilst i am living at this location. Members of my family have accounts with Natwest and are now seriously considering moving (my mother will move banks having been with Natwest for 20 years). I also feel sorry for older members of the community who do not understand online banking and prefer to speak to someone because that they are used to this.
