this is the best bank around in this area: shame on RBS : as usual the idea of service is trashed by the banks

Barnes will have no Banks if NatWest closes. It is making life increasingly difficult. The nearest branches are generally in inaccessible locations particularly for the disabled.

It would be very inconvenient to lose the last bank in Barnes. I handle cheques both personally and on behalf of a local sports club and would have to drive to Putney or Hammersmith just to pay them in. Older residents depend even more on having a branch to visit. Please reconsider your decision to close Barnes.

As a customer of Nat West for over thirty years and living within 100 metres of the Barnes Branch, I urge Nat West to keep the branch open for the benefit of individuals and small businesses living and operating in the area.

Please reconsider. Every time I go to the Barnes branch there are people!! It is used and it is useful to the community to have a local bank . Thanks.

My 2 sons have accounts based at the branch and I also have a nat west account. Could you not find a way to keep a kiosk open, perhaps within a cafe? Some imagination needed.

This is a thoroughly destructive move, designed to undermine the community. Organisations who depend on the bank to deposit cash, such as the Church of which I am Treasurer, will now have to trail off to other parts of London, increasing the risk of robbery . I cannot imagine the problems it will cause to Barnes businesses. It is no answer to tell them to join the queues in the Post Office.

Barnes residents really do need NatWest to remain open. Travel to the nearest NatWest branch in Hammersmith will be very difficult when Hammersmith Bridge is closed in 2018. Without NatWest in Barnes, there will no longer be a bank in Barnes!

We need at least on bank in Barnes, otherwise we are edging towards becoming a residential area as opposed to a village.

It would be a tragedy if the last bank in Barnes was to close
