I fully support this petition. Barnes used to have three Banks, Not all choose to internet bank apart from those who are not able or infirm. I cannot imagine that the Barnes branch is not adequately cost effective particularly now it is the only branch serving Barnes.

The residents of Barnes badly need NatWest to remain here. Many older residents find internet or telephone banking difficult and stressful. They also have difficulty travelling to Hammersmith. This problem will be very much worse during next year's closure of Hammersmith Bridge. Please reconsider this detrimental decision.

So many people need a bank in Barnes who otherwise wouldn't be able to get to one. Please reconsider.

how can they contemplate getting rid of the only thing that makes them worth using?

There is always a queue in the bank which must mean there are lots of people using and needing a local bank. Many people probably only bank with NatWest because there is a local branch. Please reconsider!

Being the only bank operating in Barnes NatWest should be able to "clean up" Retailer businesses !

Local businesses need at least one bank and the loss of the ATM will inconvenience many local residents.

Devastating decision for Barnes

For local business and residents alike a local bank is essential. Locals will vote with new accounts elsewhere from RBS and Nat West who have ignored requirements.

There are so many people who will not be able to access their accounts as they do not use computers nor do they do internet banking. I have banked at the Barnes Branch for 50 years

The closure of the last bank in Barnes will be a disaster particularly as Hammersmith bridge is scheduled to be closed for structural repairs for nine months in 2018.

Barnes has a thriving High Street and businesses need to bank cash locally and to pay in cheques. The staff are excellent.

We need Nat West. Hammersmith Bridge is going to close in 2018. Not everyone can walk to Hammersmith Branch. Not everyone wants or can do internet banking and also the security of going into a bank is irreplaceable, especially with so much internet and banking fraud .

This is a monstrous decision. The Government and business wishes to fosster local c ommunities so they can thrive for the common good . This is not the way to go about it. Paddy Grafton-Green

This is the only bank we can use for or Allotment Account, which has to have a cheque and cash paying-in facility. Always a pleasure to be served there

Lovely staff - always willing to help. I was going to change to Nat West but if it moves, won’t bother. Such a shame...confirmation of an end to the personal face of banking.

I use this branch regularly and am a member. I value the service the bank offers me, and not just the ATM. Please retain this branch in Barnes.
