For the older generation it will be a disaster if our last bank in Barnes should close

I think the decision to close the Barnes Branch will lose NatWest a significant number of Barnes account holders. They should be using it as an opportunity to promote this local community branch and getting residents to switch to them.

Nat West’s decision to close its Barnes branch leaves us without a bank in Barnes. This will have a significant impact on local businesses and residents. Sheen is closing too and Hammersmith will be difficult to reach when the bridge is closed for up to a year. Bad news for us all.

We desperately need to keep the one remaining bank in Barnes. Also the staff are wonderful it would be sad to lose them.

I really care about this cause. It’s an extremely useful branch and would really harm our small local charity if it closed.
Thanks!

Both private individuals and small businesses rely on having a local bank. It’s a service we all need.

As the area has been abandoned by all banks and building society's, and as this bank proudly said last year - it is not going anywhere - it would not only be for the bank's benefit and reputation to stay but also for all local resident's to have faith in what RBS says and does

It would be a great pity if this branch were to close. Many people rely on it.

Not everything can be done online and it is very helpful to have a branch for face to face interaction. even if the opening hours are reduced, this would be far better for the community than closure, please.

There is still a definite need for day to day banking which involves a real person in a real bank. Even if opening hours are reduced, the Barnes community would all benefit from the continued existence of NatWest. Please reconsider.

The closure of the Barnes branch of NatWest will have huge implications for the local community, not least because NatWest have announced the closure of the East Sheen branch too and Hammersmith Bridge is also about to close. Mobile banking is great - but not if you are elderly, have poor mobility, are disabled or run a small business. Redirecting people to local Post Offices is not a viable alternative. Please rethink this plan.

I also do not bank online and the closure of the branch will be most inconvenient.
