Our last bank in Barnes which serves so many elderly residents and small businesss alike, it would be detrimental to the community for this to happen

Please reconsider your decision. The bank is essential for many of the inhabitants of Barnes. It will be even more critical when the bridge closes for several months and it is even harder for many in the community to get to Hammersmith

NatWest have been providing an irreplaceable service, and there is no easy alternative. However we will search out a “second best” once NatWest has forfeited our goodwill.

A backward step for the bank and for the community

Please do not close this branch. It is the only one left that Barnes people can get to easily and on foot. Those of us who use internet banking much of the time still need to talk to a real person about our affairs. As someone who has loyally banked with Nat West for nearly 40 years I will seriously look at moving my account if this branch goes.

I have been running my small business in Barnes for 15 years and am a regular user of Barnes branch.

Please keep this branch and cash point open to support local residents who are not keen or confident to switch to online banking services, or travel to further afield for their branch access.

I moved my account over a year ago to NatWest Barnes as I am a resident and a local branch was important in making my decision. If NatWest close this branch, I will serious review whether I stay with NatWest.

I’ve been a NatWest customer for 32 years, but I will take my banking to a competitor bank if NatWest removes their cash machine and the Barnes branch closes.

Please reconsider closing this branch as it will cause a great deal of hardship to many Barnes residents and if you change your minds you will receive a great deal of good will for the future.

Why doesn’t NatWest acknowledge that the Barnes Branch is a community asset. As such the Bank can well afford to keep a branch here. If the premises are too expensive and too big why don’t they have a branch Bank in the back of a retail shop. For the elderly Putney is hard to get to and Hammersmith, again difficult as in buses there is at least 2 changes.

Yet again, this is all about profits and bottom line and return to shareholders. Barnes needs at least one Bank, having seen two close previously, its community will suffer, it's one of the last village communities close to London that will be marginalised.

A cashpoint isn't a Bank Manager and Nat West in Barnes isn't replaceable. Please please retain our Nat West

outrageous. Must be kept open. No thought given to locals/customers alike by closing it.

Very unfair for elderly residents

A blow for the elderly and all those other people forced into the chaos of Kings Street/Hammersmith Broadway to do their banking.

Typical lack of planning. Barnes Bridge will be closed when they close the bank so even Hammersmith out of the question.

As the director of FiSH neighbourhood care it is essential to keep services in our local community to maintain easy access for all, particularly the more vulnerable and frail.
