The branch has an excellent manager and team, it would be a waste to close this branch.

This excellent branch of NatWest, with its first class staff and its ATM, provides an invaluable service to the community of Barnes and enjoys a unique and prominent presence in the area. It would be a sad loss for Barnes, but also for NatWest itself, if it were allowed to close down..

NatWest is my bank & I would be extremely sorry to see it go. With so much online fraud, surely there is a good case to keep it.

This is the last full service banking branch of the high street banks remaining in Barnes. As the government is the majority owner it should use its voice to ensure the bank leads by example in serving our local communities.

I can understand Nat West's reasons. Active businesses are closing, online banking is becoming even more popular but, surely its time for the major banks to consider merging their local business operation to better serve the communities that support them.

No bank in Barnes would seriously affect many small businesses as well as individuals especially elderly

Please do not allow the residents to lose their one and only bank left in Barnes. This would indeed be a very sad day for us all. We must fight the loss of our local services.

it would be a terrible shame for all of us if the Barnes Nat West closes - I agree again, that once again, people don't seem to matter, only money

I live in Barnes and I worry that the community atmosphere is being destroyed by removing Key established businesses. I wii move my business and my children’s accounts if Nat West goes.

We joined Nat West after the closure of Barclays. They told us, so adamantly then that there was no chance of their branch closing as they realised the importance of it to all the residents and small businesses. Yet again, people don't count......only money. Surely Nat West could absorb a small loss, if indeed this branch is one.

A lot of elderly people in the area will struggle without a single bank in Barnes. NatWest offered a lifeline. Don't pull it!
