I have encouraged my children to use this Bank because they serve our community. We will be sad to leave but will not be customers after this closure.

This branch has been there for over 30 years. It is well used, and the people in Barnes like to go into the bank for banking and see a human. There are many elderly residents in barnes that do not want to travel to a branch further away.

With no bank in Barnes it will make running a business extremely difficult and waste so much time getting to and fro from another location. Once the personal contact has gone it makes banking impersonal and this leads to no one recognising us the clients and makes everything more time consuming. Why don't banks realise that once trust has gone your clients move elsewhere.

Remind them that the bridge will close next year and branches north of river will be that much more inaccessible

I've been using this branch, personal and business, for 40 years. I don't bank online and I'm sure many older residents in Barnes don't either. Loss of Natwest Barnes would be a major inconvenience.

Banks need to show social responsibility and stay open for elderly and less able people who cannot access online banking or travel.

Looks like I might have to move to probably Metrobank after being a Natwest Customer for around 58 years. I’m sick of this lack of customer care and drive to send us all to internet and telephone banking whether we, the customer, wants it or not. Please don’t tell me that there is ‘no demand’ or even worse that ‘this is a taxpayer supported bank and wehave to look after taxpayers’ - both comments I’ve received from Natwest management. I’m a customer and a taxpayer and I want a Bank with real people that is open for customers to visit. Barnes has a wealthy but elderly community and if you can’t support the community thenbyou don’t deserve our custom. We will move our business if you close this branch.

Leaving the community of Barnes without a Bank is a really unacceptable proposition.

I have banked with NatWest for over 65 years. If this Branch is closed, I will move all my Accounts to another bank.
