4 members of my family bank there. It's the last bank standing. Such a shame. We've always enjoyed good and polite service, I expect we will all transfer our accounts to banks that have people and not auto announcements. Will they be leaving a cashpoint?

Please keep NatWest in Barnes open. It's ludicrous that we could end up without a single bank in this community, and particularly difficult for small local businesses and the elderly. I would definitely consider moving my bank account to NatWest if they kept this branch open.

I have been a Natwest customer for over 50 years and would be extremely sad if they decide to put large profits above customer service. Maybe they could reduce the number of staff in th Barnes branch? It's a good branch, and when Barclays closed in Barnes, Natwest advertised proudly that they were staying open for the indefinite. Not so indefinite then.

I opened an account at this branch because they said they would be staying open in Barnes for the foreseeable future.
The staff are very helpful and professional and have made me most impressed with NatWest but if they close I shall think again.
It is still essential for shops and small business people as well as the general public to have an actual branch.

Very upsetting indeed; even an available cash-point would be helpful...

Has Nat West considered the prospects for its Barnes branch as the last bank standing? If it announced that it would keep the branch open for another ten years, it would surely benefit from a flood of account transfers from other banks.

It is disgraceful that the bank has such little social conscience.
Too busy paying excessive undeserved bonuses to the people whose reckless activities cost the bank huge amounts in fines. The arrogance at the top levels of the bank still cause this type of activity to continue and the man on the street picks up the bill

Will really miss NatWest Bank, and the great people who work there.
As NatWest, is also closing in Sheen, it would be great if we could keep Barnes NatWest.

The bank is well used and totally relied upon by local business and residents. The nearest alternative branches involve a (sometimes) lengthy journey, putting at risk those most vulnerable to loss or being robbed. The NatWest Barnes is a vital element of our local community, our local services and our local fabric. NatWest should understand just how many people would be angered by a closure, Grade A customers who would then think twice about staying with the bank.

With an elderly mother with dementia, the closure of the bank would be a huge blow to her independence as she does all her banking, including cash withdrawals, from inside the branch - unable to use cash point.

HUMBUG to ALL of this country’s leading banks who claim to be ALL caring, ALL supportive but who in fact are ALL deserting our local high streets. The very least NW can do is leave their ATM as they creep off into the sunset!

We need Nat West in Barnes. The staff have been there for years and offer an excellent service and as the only bank in Barnes it is used by the whole business community as well as the public. There is always a bit of a queue, so many people use it.

Barnes NatWest branch is vital to us. The face to face help important as we do not use (or wish to ) any on line banking.

This intention to close will remove a very valuable support to local businesses and residents (especially older residents) as this is the last remaining bank in Barnes. At the very least, we must retain the ATM

I am never comfortable using on-line banking and feel it is safer to bank at a branch. Barnes has many elderly residents for whom it is not always easy to go to Hammersmith, especially with bridge closures, or to sheen or Richmond.
Businesses will be very inconvenienced.
