This would leave a busy commercial area without access to a "proper" bank with great staff

I use the cash point and would urge the bank to retain that on site.

I am unable too use the Nat West Hammersmith branch and so reply on the Barnes branch. With my blue badge I can park close by and with a stick walk the short distance to this branch.

I no longer use NatWest but understand its importance for local traders

I use this bank regularly but will change my allegiance if they close.

With a monopoly as the only remaining bank in Barnes, how can it make commercial sense to close the branch? I was about to open an account with Natwest because of their branch in Barnes, but will not proceed unless they keep the branch open - and I know I'm not the only one...

I use this bank regularly, since 1964 in fact. I am old, retired, live alone and do not have quick, easy free advice for my computer or phone when things go wrong so cannot do internet banking which is secure for me personally. This bank in Barnes is essential to me as there is not another bank in the neighbourhood. Please keep it, the staff are wonderful too.

I'm appalled at this news. The banks treat their customers with contempt.

It seems ridiculous that a place as big as Barnes would not be served by any banks.

As the only remaining bank in Barnes the NAtwest should increase their business not lose it.The taxpayer bailed out the NAtwest after their profligate behaviour now they should show their loyalty / thanx to them by not closing the bank

The bank staff are always very helpful, and despite using on line banking I regularly have to go in in person.

Please do not close the remaining bank branch in Barnes and the only ATM in the east part of Barnes. The impact on residents and importantly businesses will be enormous.

Barnes needs at least one bank branch particularly for elderly residents

I have banked with NatWest for 56 years and it would be a disaster for the bank to close here in Barnes. It was a long time ago that the Bank extended its premises in Barnes taking in an adjacent shop, could they reduce the size to what is was to enable to give us the service we require please?

The service at the bank is exemplary, but then service to the retail customer is not something the banks care about.

This bank is a delight. The manager and staff are so very helpful always. It is so friendly and an example not only to NatWest bank but to all banks.

I frequently use NatWest in Barnes and I am dismayed with the decision to close this branch. I like the personal attention and help one gets from the delightful staff. I do not want to do banking on line and that is why this branch is so important for me. Please reconsider this decision.
