Let's be understanding of our very hard working teacher, Mrs. Miceli, and let her know we don't hold this against her!

I think this is a commendable effort. But I think that saying she is at "no fault" is not the truth. She said that this NHS group had no character, were worthless and lazy. As a teacher there are ways that we need to motivate students. Not attacking their character. You have to realize there were students who were beyond upset with how she handled her frustration, which was verbally abusive. She knew she was wrong by not putting the recorded meeting up on the boards. Furthermore, by you doing this you are putting other students who were quite upset by her verbal attack aside saying that it was ok to be told that they were lazy and worthless. It is essentially the core of this issue. As an educator we need to find positive ways to encourage our students, not tear them down. You must think of both sides and the things that were said were not out of passion, but someone who was not in control of their emotions. That is never right.

I worked with Mrs. Miceli last year as the NHS President of our chapter. Her genuine love for these students and passion for this program are inspiring. She does not deserve to be taken down when she has no fault.

I feel like Mrs. Miceli's comments to us at that Live Lesson were completely justified. She's only trying to make us the best that we can be. It would be a big loss to have her step down as our advisor.

Mrs.Miceli was simply frustrated with the NHS crew. Yes, she could have done explained herself in a more professional way, but the NHS members are also at fault. Do not let her step down for it is all of our faults.

I've had Mrs. Miceli as a teacher and a NHS adviser for two years now and I can't imagine why she should step down! Mrs. Miceli definitely needs to stay!

I do not know Mrs.Miceli all that well, I have gone to connections for about 4 years now, but I think that she is a great teacher and advisor. She seems very willing and eager to help the community, and just wants the best for us. She wants us to set a good example to other people and be responseible. I think she should stay!! :)

Mrs. Miceli is an excellent advisor and teacher! I don't believe that she should leave because she has helped us all individually and things just wouldn't be the same without her.

Mrs. Miceli is a great asset to the NHS and the students of INCA. I hope that she reconsiders her decision and returns to NHS. She has been very wonderful to my daughter and very supportive.

Mrs. Miceli should not have to step down from her position as NHS adviser. She has been nothing but an excellent teacher and leader. I believe she deserved to be dissatisfied with the members of the group, because we were not reaching our full potential. Mrs. Miceli is very uncowardly, which is exactly the type of character that a leader should have.I have no problem being under the leadership of someone who wants me too be responsible.

Ms. Miceli is a great teacher and adviser. National Honors Society would not be the same without her.

I don't see why she has to go! She's been working hard on this program and I don't think she has to go just because she pushed us to work hard.

Mrs. Miceli has been a role model and great leader since day one. It does not make sense for her to be removed or to remove herself for doing her job. If we as NHS members are not doing what we are supposed to do then she MUST say something. I'm asking that she returns to being our adviser. It would do the INCA NHS Chapter a disservice and Mrs. Miceli to sustain her resignation.

Mrs. Miceli has high standards for us all, she has inspired me to work harder in school even when I fall behind and has been kind to give advice, having her be an NHS adviser is an honor I would like to keep.

Mrs. Miceli has been a wonderful advisor over the last year and a half. She does well at organizing us and fueling us with the desire to serve others. She is a kind teacher, and she is simply passionate about the program. The INCA chapter of the NHS would not be the same without Mrs. Miceli.
