Lauren Freedman is the heart and soul of the CHS counseling program. She is a caring and compassionate mentor to students and the entire school and community would suffer a tremendous loss without her!

It's extremely important to keep wonderful, appreciated teachers! Our children are facing some of their most challenging years, in a world of drugs and bullying around them. There's nothing like 'that' teacher that keeps you coming back, touches your soul daily, that it protects it from temptation. The reason we remember 'these' teachers for life, is because some of them saved us in ways, provided something special we were not getting from family under our roof, it's a unique relationship to always be treasured! Seeing this petition come through, warmed my heart, made my day! How beautiful to watch community come together, and 'advocate' for Mrs. Freedman. I hope to see more of these:)

8 years later, I still remember Mrs. Freedman as one of the most consequential people from my time at CHS. Mrs. Freedman was one of the few faculty members I felt truly seen and heard by.

Ms. Freedman should be allowed to stay at CHS. She has helped so many students at CHS over the years. The counseling department , as well as the school community would really suffer without her there. Personally I only had a small amount of interaction with her over the years my two children attended CHS, but I have to say she is among those who had the most positive impact. I really hope she stays at CHS to help future students.

Mrs Freedman has made a huge impact on the school. Between helping students day in and day out, and running our flawless Every 15 Minutes program, Mrs. Freedman is someone that we need at Calabasas High School. Being someone that was apart of the Every 15 Minutes program, I have gotten to know Mrs Freedman and think it would be a disservice to our students to remove her from the counseling department. She is a very knowledgeable counselor and having her around campus as a familiar face makes students like myself comfortable. Knowing there's someone to talk to, someone with experience, and someone with a kind and compassionate heart in your school counseling department is reassuring as a student. Please, please, do us students a favor and keep Mrs. Freedman in our counseling department.
