I thoroughly support keeping Lauren Freedman as a counselor at CHS. She was an amazing teacher to my son way back in 2006-2007 (he LOVED her) and in her capacity as a guidance counselor, she has been EXCELLENT. In my work as a private college consultant, ALL my student/clients sing her praises as a knowledgable, caring, and experienced counselor. CHS would be making a terrible mistake to let her get away.

One of two of the best counsellors at CHS. Her and Freedman changed my high school experience and I don't know where I'd be without them.

I have 2 daughters at CHS and whenever they have needed help with registration, questions or guidance she has been of great assistance. She is an integral part of the school's success.

Mrs. Freedman is an amazing asset to CHS. I think it would be a travesty to loose such an attentive, inspirational counselor and mentor.

What is going on at CHS? Mrs Freedman was instrumental in helping my daughter through a very difficult medical leave of absence and a key advocate in both of my children's college admissions. Keep her at CHS she is a valuable asset.

Mrs. Freedman is truly a treasure. We need to figure out a way to make her a fixture; we should not be having a discussion about her leaving. Please let me know what I can do to help get her to stay! Thank you.

Mrs. Freedman is an amazing asset to our school. She is always available and helpful to all students. We cannot afford to lose someone as valuable as her.

Mrs. Freedman is an invaluable resource to high school students applying to college. She has been instrumental in Calabasas students achieving their goals of being accepted into top tier universities and career programs.

In the era of Common Core and so much change for students, continuity is so important. Our students are faced with so many challenges in high school not only academically but socially. Mrs. Freedman has been a guiding force both academically and socially. We highlight our students successes but need to look beyond the student and see the foundation and guidance they received to reach those goals. The students are Mrs. Freedman's priority. She guides them and cares for them as if they were her own children. We tell our students to stand up for what they believe in. Well, the students are speaking and we need to listen to them about Mr Freedman. Wrong is wrong. Stand up and do what is right and show our students and their families they have been heard.

Also heard that ms tiffany cozzi IS BEING FIRED from the district! she's been such a positive force for all the students at CHS and is heartbroken the district is going to this length to silence her. please show your support by calling the district office, writing letters, and showing up at this upcoming board meeting on june 14th! ALL STUDENTS past and present ..and future...AND PARENTS are encouraged to attend. we need to send them a clear message that OUR STUDENTS MATTER at CHS! WE had the best team of counselors! WE MATTER!!!
