He is one of the best counselors at PHS, and you will do a disservice to a PHS comunity and students if he doesn't stay a full time employee. I have dealt with so many people at the PHS but he and Ms. Linares are the most professional and helpful people in the school. Mr. Tran is a person who makes a difference in the students' lives.

Mr Tran is a true asset to PHS. He is one of the main teachers that is keeping PHS academically viable. The school should be focusing on improving the teachers that are a detriment to learning not one of the good ones. PHS is barely academically viable for serious students. Why make going to private school even more tempting for your highest performing students?

PHS Class of 2016, Varsity Golf member. Please keep Mr. Tran at PHS full time. If his time is split, he will not be able to maintain and build upon his relationships with the students he works so hard for. He will best be able to help students to success if he can focus on the students he knows.

Splitting Mr. Tran's time between campus is a mistake. This move contradicts the PUSD claim that students come first. Mr. Tran is a counselor who moves under represented students into college and supports students and parents. The district will create new problems that may never get resolved by moving Mr. Tran. Be preventative. Keep Mr. Tran full. Time at PHS.

Mr. Tran is not even my son's counselor and he has helped us so many times because our counselor was not responding and helping us with important issues. He is so important to the success of our school.

At a big school like PHS, it was so valuable to have Mr. Tran as a counselor so invested in actually making sure I was preforming at my best. His kindness and commitment to students sets him apart and are qualities I believe would be most valuable focused on one student body.

I am a recent 2016 graduate, Mr. Tran was an amazing counselor and he should stay and continue to do excellent work at PHS.

The District's disregard for PHS students is truly astounding. To remove a counselor at the start of the college app season...unbelievable. Mr Tran has been with many of our students since 9th grade. Who is better suited to guide them through an already stressful process. Shame Pasadena Unified!

Despite the fact that I have not been at PHS for a long period of time, I still feel that Mr. Tran was invested in my educational success just as he was to many other students. I sincerely hope that, through the words of students, he may continue to do what I have come to know him for.

Mr. Tran is excellent in his capacity; it would be a disservice to both school communities if you split his valuable time and energy. Parent of PHS Graduate, Class of 2018
