Jeffrey Newberry is a current Performing Arts Teacher at Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts. Mr. Newberry is known for his energetic and engaging teaching style. He is a teacher who creates a positive atmosphere for students to improve in not only their area of strength, but in their weakest ones too! Jeff currently directs/leads the award winning chamber choir static who has won multiple national titles, he as well leads the well known Wexford Gleeks. Jeffrey Newberry is a teacher in which Wexford CSA needs to keep to help students succeed with confidence and passion with which ever career pathway they choose in the future. It would be a huge loss to the Students at Wexford if we lost Mr. Newberry as our Teacher.

He’s been a great role model for me over the course of time I’ve been at Wexford . Always very supportive when it comes to school or family related things
Mr.Newberry has truly been the only teacher that has cared about everyone that he teaches. He sees the potential and the strengths everyone has. No one could ever replace him and is essential to basically everyone in the pa program it just wouldn't be the same without him.
Mr. Newberry helped me SO much during my time at Wex. He builds authentic relationships with his students, offering much needed guidance, stability, and warmth during a time that can be tumultuous, especially leading up to post-secondary. I don’t know if I would be where I am today without Mr. Newberry, and my story is not unique! Keep this wonderful teacher at Wexford.
When I had my Wexford audition I was incredibly nervous when it came time to sing solo, however I remember Mr. Newberry was there smiling and silently cheering me on. I didn’t end up choosing Wexford, but I’m sure he’s a very positive influence on the students there, so yeah!
Mr. Newberry has immense passion for our program. There is no other teacher that I have ever seen with as much drive and effort as he does. His music capability and guiding a group of 150 singers and artists is like none other. The program will be at a loss if he doesn’t stay
i think it would be a huge loss to these students if they lost this teacher.

Mr. Newberry is an outstanding musical theatre teacher who deeply impacts his students academically and in their growth as human beings. It would be a waste of talent and taxpayer money to have him not teach in a school devoted to musical theatre.
He’s been a great role model for me over the course of time I’ve been at Wexford . Always very supportive when it comes to school or family related things
