Mr. Dawson was the only music teacher that really gave us good advice and information. Mr. Dawson was also the only teacher that took us to competitions as well. We finally got a fantastic music teacher that was actually lasting and now they want to fire him.

Please renew Mr.Dawson's contract! My kids have been at Nwc for 5 years and Mr. Dawson has elevated the program to another level. Losing him is a huge setback for our children. He does so much for them.

As a New West student, I've had 6 teachers in my 5 years here. Having different teachers every year is both distracting and redundant when we have to start over with each teacher. Mr. Dawson has taught us all important lessons not only in theory, performance, but also composition (which has not been taught by other teachers). I am hoping we can have a consistency in music teachers with enough stress going toward other first graduating class issues. Hopefully you can see the positives of keeping Mr. Dawson.

I am sadden by the fact that Mr. Dawson is not returning next year. We were happy finally we got a teacher that is willing to make a difference in our music department. Please tell us why Mr. Dawson cannot come backl

Mr. Dawson is an awesome music teacher! My daughter has thrived in his class. New West was so very lucky to have him and to be honest he has accomplished so much under quite difficult circumstances. The music department has suffered so much turmolt and set backs with the constant change of teachers. Please do not let him go!!

Mr. Dawson has been a very dedicated and inspirational teacher. The amount of time and effort he's put into the program has been incredible. His departure will bea loss to our school.

Mr. Dawson is the BEST music teacher I have ever had. I Find it very unfair that after I have built a strong bond with him he is leaving! Its not easy for us to keep getting new music because each teacher is very different and we must keep change so instead of learning and growing we are TRYING to adjust to the change
