MCS was the foundation of our home and child rearing years! Our sons we shaped into men with deep roots and strong wings! The gift of MCS was the best gift we ever gave our children! I will do anything to keep this legacy alive!

I owe nearly everything I am and care about to MCS. I have always told anyone who would listen that the best gift my parents ever gave me was the gift of attending Mountain Christian School. It has been 13 years since I graduated from school and I still hold dear the relationships cultivated there. These connections have lasted well beyond the 8th grade. In fact four of the five groomsmen at my wedding went to MCS. Even my career today is a direct result of deep connections made at the school. I cannot imagine living in a world knowing that others are not having the same life shaping experiences that I grew up knowing and cherish deeply today. My only grievance is that nothing was done to let the community know that the school was struggling to keep its doors open. Imagine what could have been done if the Mountain Christian community and alumni were brought together to save this powerful ministry.

I feel this entire matter was handled improperly. I also think it is wonderful to help so many "other" organizations such as your Africa mission, however............. let's take care of your local parishioners FIRST. The decision needs to be reconsidered and handled in a more professional, humane manner.

I loved my time teaching at MCS and am disappointed that my children will not be able to attend such an amazing school when we move back to the States.
