Montclair Ave has become a Mecca for children of all ages.
Last year I gave out 300 pieces of candy in 1 hour. There is far too much congestion on this street for children to be safe with cars coming down the street at all levels of speed. Please do block off between the top of Montclair Ave down to Label Street.

I strongly support this move to keep our children (and adults) safe on Halloween.
Would love to see this become a reality, we have such a wonderful experience every year on Montclair avenue! The guaranteed safety would be great and much needed-considering the huge and growing number of families who trick or treat in the area.

My kids are older teens now. But we had many great halloweens on Montclair Ave. traffic has gotten so bad within the year. I worry about the safety of this year's crop of kids trick or treating. I think it's a great idea to close the street!

This is a no-brainer. We endure street closures all the time. With 3,000 kids' lives at stake, a road closure for this one event makes a lot of sense.
