Keep Montclair Ave Safe On Halloween By Stopping Traffic

Excellent idea to keep Halloween a fun and safe night for all!

There is no reason for this street to be open to drivers during peak trick-or-treating hours. So many families and children pass through, it's better attended than most festivals in town.

I am on Montclair resident and fully support the initiative. Technically, this is not very different than a block party, which the township readily closes the street for.

Terrific idea for Halloween safety. Let's protect our children!

I trick or treat here with my toddlers and remember being concerned with drivers last year. Many children are in the street and drivers get impatient trying to get through the crowds.

I gave out 900 pieces of candy by 7 o'clock --kids zigzagging across the street constantly . Closing the street to cars is a no-brainer.

Please close this street - it's so packed on Halloween and it's hard to see.

Please close traffic on Halloween to support safety on our street! I've had a few too many close calls with children visiting our home and my own family visiting our neighbors on Halloween night!
