I hope the College of Midwives doesn't cave into this bullying, but i suspect that they will, as have all other NZ institutions to extreme trans gender ideology.

As a mother and grandmother, birth is not a time to be distracted by people's popular politics. The entire focus should be on mother and baby, and that experience should not be diminished to accommodate a few. It excludes the majority of women from their personal and natural identities. Women in pregnancy and labour should not be being put through such stress. Keep Milli, who is prioritising women and babies in their most vulnerable experience. As she and ALL midwives should be doing.

Why are we prioritising the mental health issues of a noisy minority over women. It's not as if maternal health is much of a priority anyway, now some people don't even want women to have words to describe themselves or their experiences. Can we have the grown-ups back in the room please?

Only women get pregnant. It is not hateful to say so, it is biology. Trans-identified men are women, especially if they're pregnant. There are loads of genders, but only TWO SEXES - MALE AND FEMALE.
