Keep Milli Hill as Keynote Speaker at Midwifery Conference

Taking an amazing educated, interesting, and well qualified woman from speaking due to fashionable ideas about science denying is mad. My mum who was a kid wife and also trained in nursing at great ormond Street is fuming. And so am I. And so are all my female friends.

Milli Hill has done nothing to merit a "disinvitation" - rescind this disastrous and clumsy attack. Reinstate her invitation to speak at the Midwifery Conference

Women are adult female humans, nothing hateful about this.

Women = Adult Human Female

Midwifery is about services for women birthing, regardless of how they identify and therefore is nothing phobic about it.

I am disgusted that cancel culture is behind this. It must stop!

I am horrified at the way some midwives have jumped up to condemn and cancel Milli. I will be writing my own letter to the college of midwives about this disgusting issue.

Please do not allow extremists to block reasonable people calmly discussing this topic. If gender theories are so important surely debate must be promoted not suppressed? Midwives must be able to question authority on women's behalf in our most vulnerable moments.

Keep the language of pregnancy and women's services accessible and understandable for women.

Women should not be silenced for stating biological facts especially in such an inherently female field such as childbirth! Just because some women want to fantasise they are men but are happy to use there female bodily functions to produce a child! This madness has to stop. Only women give birth. Adult human females. Stop erasing our identity. We didn’t ask to be relabelled in the first place. Respect our wishes. If a woman wants to be called a man that’s up to them. You should not change all language because of their delusions. It’s misogynistic. Stop it.

I beleive hearing opposing views and hearing different perspectives is a vital part of learning.

Embrace diversity and kindness.

Stop the bullying of people just because they don’t adhere to American driven gender ideology.

Stop giving in to bullies. Especially the science deniers. Open debate is the only way forward.

For millenia, women have had men controlling everything about our lives, with a constant threat of male violence including banishment It is imperative that women and girls have language that describes us, language that never includes males To organize and fight for our rights, we have to have language that includes just us. Just females I know there are some females that don't identify as female, woman and/or girl. I don't know the best way to make them feel included in female only experiences, like pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. I do know it's not a workable solution to erase the very language that defines the female sex class. It's also not workable to demand that women deny the reality of biological sex.

UK has a huge movement of trans exclusionary feminism, and they need to realize that pocket of prejuidice may feel validating but this is not acceptable or welcome in the rest of the world
