Misogyny has no bounds

Midwifery must be based in scientific facts not beliefs. To ban someone on the basis that she sticks to facts is profoundly disturbing for an evidence based profession.

Milli Hill is the perfect keynote speaker for this event. She is not a transphobe. She is womans champion and deserves her platform to speak.

I am a public health and women's health expert and Milli Hill's work is pivotal for my field.

Sex is medically important. This hateful bullying of people who state facts must stop.

I am a mother not the birthing person and I breast fed all four of my children. I did not chest feed them I fed them, kept them alive fully from the milk from my breasts not my chest - my husband has a chest but no breasts if he had tried to feed them, they would have died of dehydration. I am a woman

100% support Milli Hil, and 100% oppose any efforts to have her deplatformed for recognizing and respecting the female sex. NZCOM would be remiss in dismissing Milli's valuable contributions to midwifery simply to placate a vocal minority of biology-deniers who are in fact 'on the wrong side of history'.

Women should not be de platformed for speaking biological truth

Milli is a great speaker. She has contributed in a hugely meaningful way to the experience of birthing for women and their families across the globe. Why would you not want to benefit from that or hear about the positive impact she has helped forge?

Women’s voices need to be heard particularly in maternity. Every Mother is a woman, regardless of how they identify.

Women give birth - including those women who identify as a different gender. Milli's books are an invaluable resource

Females give birth. Males do not. Simple.

I support her 100% for her work and input in making birth a safe journey for women.

The erasure of the language of women must stop. We are women, not birthing parents, menstruaters, chest feeders or people with a cervix. The despicable bullying of people who calmly state facts and reality must stop.

Stopping Milli speaking about women? Please. This bullying of a woman standing up for vulnerable women is a despicable, misogynistic act of hate and must not happen.

What might you have to fear in letting Milli speak?
