I have enjoyed working with Mr. Corbett and support him as the principal of our school. It's near the end of the quarter, and I am having a good day because of the no late work policy implemented by Mr. Corbett. In the past I had mountains of late work. This policy has helped to hold our students to higher standard and gives me more time to prepare lessons or give students feedback. Of course this is only one of the good things he has done. He not only supports students, but he supports his staff.

I will be truly sadden and disappointed if Mr. Corbett is forced to leave. My oldest has been in three different schools and I can truly say Mr. Corbett is the first principle that has shown that he cares about his students. Every time I have walked into high school I see him interacting with students. And this year we had an issue with my son's grades and when he seen his grades I got a phone call and we had a meeting that afternoon. So my question to you is how many other principles do you know that actually cares and has faith in the students? I couldn't ask for any better principles than what we have in Oakley.

To remove Mr. Corbett from our school would be a horrible mistake and injustice to our children.

Mr corrbet is awesome!!! We don't even have kids there yet just siblings and we can see how amazing he is!!! We are hoping he is the principal when our children go to school. He always takes an interest in all of the kids in town.

I didn't have the privilege of knowing him while we lived there, but I trust the people who have signed this petition.

Wow and ugh. I wonder why we continue to run good people out of our little community. Mr. Corbett has taken interest in and supported my kids from the first time he met them. He has always been a great, big cheerleader and advocate for each of them. I believe they are not exclusive in receiving his attention. He has confidence in and cheers for every student to be successful in whatever they are doing. He let's them know that he is on their team. I would hate to lose this person that supports each child in such a unique way.

You need to watch what you report as fact. You have singled out 4 teachers that you have no idea about any issues going on. Watch you mouth young man.

I know Mr. Corbett professionally and personally. He is one of the few people that I trust with my children without question. Whatever is going on, it isn't fair or right.

If it is true that Mr. Corbett has no idea WHY he is being demoted, then we (citizens) have a big problem with the school board and higher administration because of the way they are going about this.

When you see a principle out in the dark pushing snow before the beginning of a school day, there is no need to question the motives or integrity of that man. Mr. Corbett has a wonderful personality, and a genuine concern for students, faculty and the community. Whoever is behind this needs to be exposed.

After investigating the issue, j have come to the conclusion that a few power hungry people run the community of Oakley. Principal Corbett poses a threat to some of the teachers who are prominent community members. He puts quality education first and he is willing to remove poor teachers even though they have been here for a while. Unfortunately, one of the power hungry members of the community is on the school board. He is the one who should be removed. Principal Corbett didn't do anything. He was framed in a similar way to the way the media frames president Trump: making a mountain out of nothing. The only grievance that the 4 out of 23 teachers could cite is that he "causes a lot of problems." No, that's bullcrap. They just wanna keep their jobs even though they suck at teaching.

No offense to anyone else, but I wish he'd have been the principal when my son was in high school. He's a good man who really cares about the kids, the school & our community.
