My children do not attend Oakley High School, but I have brought my children to this school on numerous occasions, and Mr. Corbett has always shown genuine concern for my children. He is a very caring and likeable individual, so I do not understand why someone would want to try to ruin a good man's livelihood and his reputation. Please explain. A citizen of Cassia County.

Mike Corbett is one of the best people to come to Oakley in a long time. If Mike loses his job I will never vote in favor of any school bond again. The administration better get this right!!!!

My family loves Mr. Corbett! He is always there to support and encourage my children and they look up to him as a mentor and value him as a friend. In my opinion, losing him will be a great loss to the community of Oakley.

Mike is an awsome principal. I have had the pleasure of working with him directly through the International Student Exchange Program as well as through church and private life. Anyone who is calling for him to be let go has either a personal grudge with him or is just trying stir up trouble. No one is perfect, but know one should fired for minor imperfections.

Mr. Corbett has had a positive influence on my kids. I would hate to see him go! I do trust the board's decisions on such matters, but it is very possible that they're getting a biased view of the situation. *Most* of the community seems to love him and the work he does here. We trust him to carry out rules that protect our kids. He's doing a great job as far as I (and my kids, and their friends) can tell. Nobody can please everybody all the time. This isn't a democracy by any means, but I hope the board will consider the public's opinion on this issue. If there are conflicts within the staff, I would rather see Mr. Corbett stay. I feel that his door is always open, he genuinely cares about each student, and he wants to be fully involved in the kids' activity both during and after school. My heart sunk when I heard the news. I wish there was something more I could do to help.

Any behavior you have listed would have resulted in immediate termination or arrest. Signing this petition shows public support in a man we have felt has done a good job and we would like the School Board to be attentive of this public support. The final decision lies in their hands. I feel it is more dangerous to not speak out, Mr. Hepworth.

This is sickening. Oakley has run off so many great faculty because of political garbage. We have a talented and caring leader in Mr. Corbett. The first week he was here he knew all my kids and has been there to cheer them on in school and sports. It's time to stop giving power to a few certain people who always make the most noise which is just usually noise over feelings of entitlement, power, and politics. Mr. Corbett is a great leader who has invested in our community and kids.

If it affects something going on in our schools then yes we possibly do have a reason to know what's going on.

Me Corbett is the biggest cheerleader to these kids. Please don't let another teacher/principle get driven out because people are afraid of change.
