I really thought this coffee shop was just going to fade away quietly but seeing all this energy makes me think we might actually have a shot here. It is honestly bizarre to see so many people who care about that exact corner as much as I do and I keep clicking refresh just to see if it is real.

We need Starbucks on middlefield! Midtown is growing and there are so many apt buildings in the area where people walk around. Keep it open pls!
A huge favorite of ours to meet lots of friends and to walk to as well. My grandson actually cried when he heard the news- while in the store.
This location has been here for like 20 years or more, and it is a community staple. If this store has to close for rent reasons, please open at a nearby location, which would continue to serve the Midtown area.
I spend $150+ per month at Starbucks. Prefer the coffee at Starbucks over Philz or Peets, but will be mostly going to one of those if this location closes.
Please keep this location open! The company I work for is located directed upstairs from the Starbucks and we are all loyal customers (outside of constant coffee runs, we always pick up Starbucks when we run events outside of our office). Please keep the store open so we can remain happy and productive!

Reputedly store is closing b/c Tim Foy of Midtown Realty, owner of the building, hiked the rent from $7,000/month to $10,000/month and the location barely pulls $7,000/mnth revenue. Anyone know if either of these pieces are true?
