For goodness sake please stand up to the utter self absorption of men who wish they were women, and do not have the maturity or decency to see that it is not "all about them" and that their demands infringe on the rights of others. I am an Australian female and I support the preservation of female single sex spaces.! Trans women are men, and villifying people who point this out will not change that simple fact.

Same sex for a reason. Biology is important

I would not use a so-called women’s pool where men are welcome if they say they are women. Watch the women’s pool become a trans space.

It would be a tragedy if women born women loose this little space on earth. I have been a user of the pool for the last 32 year.

Women and girls need private, safe spaces for recreation, rest and renewal. KEEP the Baths Female only!

We need to protect the safety and privacy of women who have been sexually abused, women who are persecuted minorities and the many other reasons this pool was created in the first place. The risk of predators pretending to identify as women just to mock, pervert and traumatize the women who use this facility is far too high. There is absolutely no need to open this tiny pool to males when there are two perfectly good Publuc ocean pools within less than 100metres in either direction

If it isn't broke, don't fix it.

I support this petition, to keep Cooee Womens pool male free... Transgender people are that trans...they can dress as woman at night or on weekends but be wearing a suite during the week for a male held position...there is no real distinction between how long a transgender is a transgender or that they must be transgender full time... Males who are preying on women can easily pop on a frock call themselves a transgender ...who can say they are not transgender. Transgenders who have had surgery to be physically classed as women...I can see no issue....but transgenders who have not had any surgery and still have male bits and can change their mind to untransgender should not be admitted into this sacred pool for women only... As a rape victim, it took me along time to feel confident again to go into a public space and enjoy a swim...and I only did this at this above ladies only pool. If I go there at any time and would find a person purporting themselves to be a women and out fell their male bits I would be pressing vomiting at that sight...I don't think I am alone with ptsd either....most Domestic violence victims and rape victims have similar ptsd from their past trauma by men...this pool providr one and only one of the safe places in Sydney for women like this... So I am against males and persons with male bits being allowed entry into this pool. Cheers Cat Delaney.

This area is for biological women, and biological women only. If trans-women actually behaved like women, maybe this could be reviewed. But trans-women continue to behave like men, despite their best imitative efforts. The pools must remain a safe place for women. Real women.
