Please support this plea to keep the pool safe for women who want to bathe separately from male-born persons.

Keep this female spaces for biological women only. XX chromosomes only

Women require a single pool to allow them to enjoy outdoor swimming free from the male eye. It is a disgrace this simple requirement has now been removed them.

So women must yield to men again. We haven’t progressed much. It needs to be reliable a mixed sex pool because that is what it has become.

Not okay.

This is patriarchy made over for the 21st Century where the rights of males take precedence of those of females. Truly a hierarchical system of rights based on a power differential between the two sexes where females of course are secondary. Good luck with your petition.

We must have women only places, for the safety of women, free of men bodies and men parts. There is a reason we need these spaces, this does not disappear just because the look at gender and sex etc. changes. Full females, trans or not trans need to be allways welcome at woman only places. It is because of the biological men parts... thàt is the problem. Again, there is a good reason we need these places.

This is outrageous. All the men fighting to get access to this last, female only pool are the ones who shouldn’t be allowed within a mile of it.

Absolutely shocking that big hairy Nige with “her” dangly balls will be able to pretend “she” wants to be a woman so “she” can ogle women and girls.

Women's sex-based rights are not up for debate.

Please give this pool back to women. Men have other places they can go.

Swimming pools are integral for natal women for a host of reasons. Whether it's for religious purposes, or they've been victim to sexual assault, or they're deeply uncomfortable with males in the area, this provides a refuge for these women. Men who identify as women, but have not undergone any form of sex reassignment, have a multitude of locations they can visit. Women do not.

By opening access to persons who are XY women, you are closing access to many more XX women, who will no longer feel safe to use this space.

No men in the women’s pool!

Keep this tiny haven free and affirming of womens lives. Honour the herstory of the place. Show respect to the thousands of years this has been used by women.

This is a safe space for women, and has been that way for generations. Please keep the penis out of the pool.

Think about the women. We need safe spaces. Women need their own space sometimes. Think about Muslim women. Think about women/females who have been / are victims of male violence and want women only space for safety. Breastfeeding mothers who may want privacy from men and a swim. Don’t give in to men behaving badly - bullies - typical macho no consideration or concern for women. Give trans people their own pool.

Biology? It’s a science. Males and females we are made. Can we have this tiny space, pretty please motherF$rkers?
