Keep McIver's Ladies Baths Women & Children Only

I support trasnsgender people but I still think that this pool needs to remain women only. This space should be free of people with penises, regardless of whether the person identifies as female or other. I do however think that the pool should be open to males who have had sex reassignment surgery to remove their penises and had breast implants.

Women are female, transwomen are male. We are not defined by sexist stereotypes, transwomen are not women.

Give the women (biological women) and their children a break with a tiny, solitary pool of their own away from the male gaze - yes transwomen are transwomen with MALE bodies. I have reported the other petition for child sexual abuse: this is a safeguarding issue. No child should have to see a male in a "women-only" pool unless he is (1) a lifeguard or (2) the father of the child, in which case he should have the courtesy to let his wife be alone with their child. End of!

There is no reason to capitulate to these entitled, sexual predator males. They are hiding behind "transgender" to dominate and destroy every safe space women have. Stop enabling their dysfunctional behavior!

All people can go most places. These are sacred baths for women born women. I think it's fine they retain somewhere for them. Many beaches have secluded spots for nudists etc & general baths. The wider public can use those, however they identify. Let's show respect for non discriminatory tradition and openness to share other spaces with all. This space is for women. We have so few women only spaces. This should not be taken from the community. Thanks Amanda LGBTIQ Community

WOMEN. ONLY

Keep this pool women and children only and don’t include trans people. It’s not fair on women who come here to feel safe to have trans with men’s bodies in that space. Please be sensible. One safe women only swimming space shouldn’t be too much to ask. Be brave. I know it takes a lot of courage.

I used to regularly swim at McIver's ladie's baths back in the 1990s as a teenager because I knew I wouldn't get eyeballed, verbally or physically harrassed by men. It was a SAFE place. Don't bow down to the ideological bullies that push a male (and deluded) agenda to take over women's spaces. Keep McIver's pool a women's space and safe from men.

Another sanctuary for women under attack. Any men’s only spaces (such as some golf clubs) being hounded? Anyone talking Prostate cancer campaigns to stop using the word ‘men’? The sooner people see that ‘trans rights’ is just a mysogynistic campaign the better.

Children & women need this safe swim space. Also many ethnicities prevent women from bathing except with other cis women

Women feel safer in women's only spaces. Why is this so hard to inforce?

One day soon women will take back that which was stolen from us.

Since childhood this has been a safe place - a haven - for me and my female family members and friends. Please allow this one place of women's safety to continue.

If people with penises are allowed in, all Muslim some are girls will no longer have any place in Sydney they can swim in the ocean. If people with penises are allowed and no further questions asked, this just men’s that any men at all can come in and just say “well, I can come in because I am a woman in my head”. There is something very wrong with this and it will no longer be a safe space for women to go topless or for a Muslim women to be even wearing a bathing suit!!
