I assisted my daughter when she transferred to Mathews as a pre-k teacher. I had the pleasure if interacting with Mr. Cleo and Mr. Brown on numerous occasions during her two years teaching there. Both these men are caring, professional men who take their job seriously. When anything was needed, they always helped locate the items. The school is always clean and in perfect order. It was obvious to me that they love the school, the teachers and the children and contribute to the warm, family atmosphere of the school. These two men are a positive influence on the children as well. It would be a terrible mistake transfer them from Mathews.

Even from a student in 2003, Mr. Cleo and Mr. Brown always had a laugh and smile on their face brightening our days.

Mr. Brown and Mr. Cleo are such important members of the Mathews Elementary family. I went to Mathews almost 10 years ago and still remember all the laughs and kind words of these men! Losing them would be a disservice to all the kids who have yet to meet them.

Strong, goodhearted male roll models are surely a thing children benifit from. Loss occurs in the life of a child through natural processes why introduce one deliberately.

I went to Matthew's from kindergraden to the fifth grade and no one could make a child's day like these two gentlemen. There was always a smile on their faces and they made sure that every child they came in contact with had one too. Don't break up this family!
