I remember both of these gentlemen working at Mathews when I attended. Always smiling and friendly to every student they should remain a part of the Mathews family.

I am now 22 years old, and myself long with my younger sister and the other four older siblings have all gone to Matthews Elementary. For years we were all able to experience the joy and love from Mr. Cleo and Mr. Brown. I was in the fifth grade and my father was undergoing a rather extensive surgery. Being young, i was very upset.. but these two kind souls helped all of my fellow classmates create get well cards to send home with me. Matthews was my home once upon a time, and it has been home for these two men for 39 years. Please, do not take them from their home and deprive future children of being shown the kindness and compassion that these two have always showed.

Both of those men made my days at Mathews Elementary. They always were there to put a smile on my face. I'm a senior in high school now and I can vividly remember days where Mr. Cleo and Mr. Brown made me happy and helped me have a better day. They are 2 great men, I hope they can keep their jobs at Mathews.

Wow! Didn't even know they were still there! What great guys! Both were so good to my three children when they were at Mathews. The district should not lose hard-working, loyal people like these two who genuinely love children.

These wonderful men were there when my boys were there eight years ago. They would sing in the hallways as they worked and just were amazing with the children! Please leave them with our family.

I went to Mathews Elementary over 10 years ago and I still remember what an impact these men had on every child!

They were always joking around with me when I was stuck at school waiting for my mom to finish her work. They renamed me Ken Ken. My Mathews experience would not be the same without them.

When I was going to school at Mathews, these two were always there to meet me with a smile and I still remember them today with such kindness. They embody what it means to be compassionate and caring individuals and I learned how to be a better person because of their examples.

Mr. Cleo and Mr. Brown were a dear part of my years at Mathews (over 10 years ago). The school would not be the same without them. I witnessed them give so much of themselves to others--please let them stay!

My girls don't go to Mathews anymore but thy both loved these men! They spoke about them as often as they spoke about anyone else. It would truly be a shame to take these men away from their Mathews family who love and want them there. It can't just always be about the bottom line.

Please let Mr. Cleo and Mr. Brown stay at Mathews and continue to be the wonderful influence they were for my 3 sons when they were students at the school. We were at Mathews 17 years total and these 2 men were there all of those years. I spent many hours there myself as a volunteer and you could always count on these to men to move, unload or help in anyway with activities or events that were going on each day. They were part of what made Mathews great to us, they were part of the Mathews family. Please let future families benefit and leave these men at Mathews.

I didn't attend Mathews, we moved into the area during my 7th grade year, but all three of my brothers did. My brothers loved these two men! They encouraged my brother William to draw, they would swap drawings. They bought eggs from my brother to encourage them. When my brother Nathan died, they were for William and Zac. And when I did my CHS community service through Columbus parks and rec and did the after school program at Mathews I got to know them better and see how much all the kids loved them. They were always there for them, encouraging them and making them laugh. This is what these kids need, someone who believes in them because they want to. It would be a shame to remove them from Mathews.
