I went to school here and remember both of them! They used to let me hangout with them when my mom was late picking me up from the after school program! Such sweet guys!

All schools should be able to keep their family together. The thought of hiring a service is disheartening for all elementary schools. The custodians at my school are also our family. They do so much more than clean.

They watched over my sons after their brother died. The Murphy boys were in good hands. My sons spoke of these fine men often. We still have the artwork that Mr Cleo made for them. I urge you to listen to the voices of the Mathew's family before you make a decision.

Please let these two wonderful men stay at our school. They were the first ones to welcome me aboard over ten years ago. I cannot express the admiration I have for these two Godly men! They have always went over and above to make sure teachers and staff needs are accommodated. These two men show great integrity in every thing they do. Please reconsider asking them to leave the school that they have called home for so many years!

When our son died while he was a student at Mathews these two men reached out to us on multiple occasions. I will be forever grateful for their loving care. They go above and beyond.

Young children need as many trusted adults as possible. Taking away the custodians and putting complete strangers in their place is absolutely ridiculous! School board please leave the elementary schools with their trusted adults!

Mr. Cleo and Mr. Brown provide ancillary support far beyond what their job titles might suggest. Though years have come and gone since my room-mother days, these two were a vital component of what made Mathews feel like a home, opposed to an institution. They welcome students, faculty, and visitors as one would provide hospitality in the home. Please do take lightly the value in their service.

Why turn an entire system upside down to fix a few? Pardon the grammar, but " if it ain't broke, don't 'fix' it". There is not a problem with custodial services at Mathews Elementary. Fix the problem...don't create new ones.
