I just found out tonight and I was heart-broken to realize that the nicest cashier in the world was pushed aside because someone thinks it is more profitable. Thank goodness I have no more books left to buy from Follet, but now that Marlene is gone, I won't be buying any more candy, chips, or soda from that bookstore either. Follet, you just lost a customer. Bring Marlene back.

ULV - there is an a easy fix here. Hire Marlene as a ULV employee, and tell efollet they're off the hook. They can pocket the difference. Marlene is an asset to the College of Law, don't miss your opportunity.

Marlene always had a smile for the students and made buying those expensive books worthwhile.

Marlene must stay at Laverne. Her efforts and contributions to Laverne cannot be measured. Please note the value of keeping Marlene at Laverne.

Marlene represents what is truly wonderful about La Verne Law. Always a smile, a compassionate ear, a friendly and encouraging word - she is a true friend to all of us. Follett: We make purchases at the bookstore to see Marlene and to support HER, It is not the same without her - we need her back!

To even consider this shows total lack of insight and common sense from the perspective of the student's experience. If that matters at all anymore.

Marlene is an institution at La Verne Law. Her kindness and compassion are legendary and I will not purchase anything from the bookstore until she returns.

Oh, Laverne, at it again. This is why I refuse to give you money. You make terrible decisions. Marlene is amazing, she is so helpful and kind. Literally one of the few employees at LaVerne that are tolerable. Good luck, Marlene! If you are in need of a letter of rec, I know 100+ ppl you can call.

I can remember countless times when Marlene encouraged me to keep going and stay the course! She was always someone I went to for encouragement, even more than my appointed faculty support/advocate. It saddens me to think she will not be able to be this person for the future students of ULV COL! I fully support bringing her back, as long as that is what she wants!

Marlene is a kind and gentle soul. She is the reason I went in and bought from the bookstore. Follett's management is obviously oblivious to how much Marlene means to all of us.

Marlene is a warm and wonderful person who gives lots of TLC to the students, faculty, and staff at ULV College of Law.

Marlene is one of the key people who was like an advisor/counselor to me throughout law school. She was available during and after work hours for anything!!! She had the best advice for surviving law school as a new student and new all the right resources! She was a critical key to my success!!!!
