Let's use some common sense for this one.

When closing my family business (Schillig's Food Market) I was naive to think it would not have an impact on the Marlboro community. I believe closing Marlboro Elementary would have a huge negative impact on our community.

The BOE needs to stop their incessant new-building requests and focus on making repairs to our three elementary buildings, instead of spending valuable taxpayer dollars on unnecessary projects. Beeson Street NE, Alliance

It’s ridiculous that any of those buildings should be in bad shape if Marlington residents kept giving money for maintenance. Don’t tell me we need new buildings when I was in Carrollton where there’s a school building with the date 1913. I feel this a move to make a more modern looking building for elementary. Buildings don’t educate kids but great teachers.

I’m sorry but it’s also a huge slap in the face when prominent members of our community don’t support the school system and prevent it from it from moving forward. No one (including me) wants to see Marlboro close. I teach at Washington and my children attend school in the same building. They are in bad shape and everyone knows it. It’s unfortunate that community members find every excuse not to vote for the future of our children

It’s about time this board starts listening to the people of this school district. Keep it open. We need this school for our kids.

This was my elementary school. I had some very good memories and would hate to see it torn down

I like Marlboro school. All of our kids went there. How about someone coming up with a long range funding plan to make this feasible and ask the Bd of Ed to put a levy on the ballot. Practicable?
