guess what maheshbhai is officially staying on as our pandit. i cant believe how much support we got for this and im honestly just so happy that we get to keep him around. thanks for sticking with this and helping us make it happen.

MaheshBhai Bhatt has been the Pandit of the WIA for 4 years. His term is nearly up and the WIA are now looking for a new Pandit. MaheshBhai helps the younger generation engage in all event going on and also gets along with the older generation, He is easy to get along with and easily approachable.
As youth we should have a voice in WIA on who we get to interact with so would like to see him stay here.
Please sign this petition for us as youth to have a say in what happens in our community. This community is our future and we all need to do our part to secure a good future for us all.

im still hearing so many stories from people about how maheshbhai has helped them feel connected to the community. its really clear that he brings everyone together and we arent going to stop pushing until the wia realizes how much we want him to stay.

im honestly blown away by how many people are backing this. seeing so much support for maheshbhai really shows how much he means to everyone here and i love that we are all sticking together for this.

Mahesh Bhai has an abundance of knowledge, he has the ability to communicate with different age groups and cultures. His strength is his extensive knowledge and ability to explain at all levels - especially to youth . Keep him on he is an asset to the community .
He has performed lots of rituals on various festival days and even on weekly basis as well. Just because of him more people of all ages are visiting temple today... so please we want him as WIA Pandit. Jai shreeram
He is an awesome person. Why WIA wants a change?, please keep him we don't want a change as a pandit, if you want to change than change something else. E.g make more parking, develop infrastructure, but not a new pandit please.
He is a very informative Pandit and helped explained a lot of situations to me and my family in both english and gujji. I would miss him if he left wia and the region.
I'd like to say that people don't take Mahesh Uncle that seriously and all because he jokes around quite a bit but that's what makes him approachable especially for us youth. He blends in the gap between the older generation and ours.
Maheshbhai has been one of the best pundits we have had for our younger generation.

For once in NZ we have a young and engaging priest whom the youth understand and look up to. Why take this away from us? We are continuing to learn each day about our identity culture and religion as being an Indian, and Maheshbhai brings this out in all of us.. Why take what's working away from us..???????
