Keep Luscombe at DMCS

First of all..for all of you saying signing into this anonymously is being a coward. You're so wrong in this case!! DMCS is full of gossip and you know administration is reading these. Be ready for backlash if you are signing your name. They will put you on their target list to get you out of the school. Mr. Luscombe is a great faith filled Christian man! He has always been there for my kids. It is a shame he is not coming back!! There's a reason why no one wants to go to administration. They look down on anyone who makes any noise or they push the problem under the rug. I've learned this from first-hand experience. Nothing ever gets done. Mrs. Prewitt has had many many complaints about her last year and nothing ever was done! Shame on Mrs. Duda for allowing this! Oh..but why would she do anything? They're friends! Mrs. Prewitt probably showers her with gifts!! The Christian has come out of DMCS and the ENTITLEMENT has worked its way in. The Prewitt family acts like they run the school. There are many other families that are entitled too but the Prewitt's are the ringleaders. Their kids (and other kids of the administration) walk around like they can do whatever they want; tardiness doesn't count for them, late assignments are not docked, not following dress code, I.P. Being disruptive in Mrs. Prewitt's (his mom's) room while kids are taking tests. You're Rules don't apply to the entitled kids! DMCS has always been bad with that! And if you've never been on a sports team with one of their kids you have been truly BLESSED!! What kid gets to play the whole game and not score any points until the last couple of minutes? I.P. (2 pts to be exact) There were several other players on the bench that could have had a chance to make a contribution!!! But..oh wait, they're not an entitled kid! Shame on DMCS for allowing this to happen for so many years!! How is it that I.P. can cuss and throw things in the locker room at halftime when he's losing and E.P. can yell at her

Great communication from DMCS again. We get an email from Lambert about something we knew nothing about. To my concern, I reached out to some other parents to see what was going on. Why wasn’t the information conveyed last week when the decision not to renew the contract was made? What?!?! ANOTHER great teacher is gone! I don’t know this gentleman, but it sure seems like many do and adore him! It sounds like he’s one of the FEW secondary teachers that challenges the students and prepare them for how hard college is. Our student will have a rude awakening when entering college, unfortunately. Now, our student won’t even have the opportunity to be challenged by this teacher. I respect the people who are putting their name on their comment, but please be ready for the backlash. I have had it happen on more than one occasion for going forward to question decisions/teaching abilities, etc. I would pull my students out of DMC if my husband would support it. He’s dead-set on leaving the kids here. I know too much and have seen too much. We did stop donating to the school several years ago due to unchristian things happening. DMC, hear these students, hear your paying members and hear your TEACHERS!! It’s really sad that teachers are even voicing their concerns for their jobs and the politics of the school. Just sad. It sounds like it’s time this has all come to light. Sounds like a good ol’ town hall meeting might be required to pull this school together again. Would that be too scary for the administration to hear face-to-face? It’s true you need to be in the right “circles” at DMC. I was even told that by a staff member when I was offering to help the school save money. It seems this is accurate in the administration office, as well. Praying for everyone involved.

Mr. Luscombe has an excellent math mind that is hard to find in a smaller school. He helped my daughter learn some difficult math and I am sorry to hear his contract is not being renewed. In addition to his math abilities he is a fine Christian. I will email and call Mr. Lambert as well to voice my support for Clint Luscombe.

I really wanted to stay off of this comment thread, but I am incredibly disappointed by what I am seeing. While I signed this petition anonymously because I love and support Mr. Luscombe, many of these comments make me wish that I hadn't. Being associated with this type of slander is insane. Let me remind us all of some things. First, some Scripture: The ninth commandment: You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. - Exodus 20:16 Remind them...to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people. - Titus 3:2 The irony in this comment thread is suffocating. Calling out what you perceive to be un-Christlike behavior in an un-Christlike manner is... un-Christlike. There is no need for slander or character assassinations. These things have no place in the Body of Christ. So please, stop it. Enough with the venomous hatred. It is disgusting and unbecoming. It has no place amongst those who claim the name of Christ. I hope that many who have contributed to these comments will repent of their careless and evil words and confess them to God. It is ok to disagree with DMCS's decision, but trudging around in sin will do nothing for DMCS and it most certainly will do nothing for your own walk with Christ. The teachers and staff of this ( Christian school) are screwed up and judge mental!!! Judging by the things they say and the things they do, and how they handle problems is not ok!! Firing Mr. luscomb for not wanting to give him the retirement money is not ok! as he has worked longer than anyone els here, doing that is not Christian like, they have also done this with mrs Wright and previous teachers!! Dmcs staff ( mrs Prewitt and Duda ) think they can hide things they can say, but God says in the Bible the truth always comes out and Prewitt and Duda are scared of the truth! So do us all a favore DMCS staff members keep Mr. Luscomb and fire the teachers who make lists and talk about inappropriate stuff with middle schoolers and keeping money to themselves. Btw for each kid to get into This school is thousands of dollars+ people donating everyday. You have Enough money to give Mr luscomb what he deserves but what your giving him is unfairness! And just like you gave it to Mrs Wright! And other teachers.

I for one do not feel like I can go “through the channels in place” in order to voice my concerns with Mrs P and Mrs D. I think these comments have done a little good in showing people what has been going on for years. At some point, I’m sure I’ll have a complaint against me and would like to know that people might question it a bit. Might not do any good though.

Did anyone see the email sent out today? It didn’t address anything other than asking these comments to stop. I’m not sure they should stop. Maybe it’s actually getting somewhere. Is me going to Mrs Duda or Mr Lambert really going to help bring to light what has been going on? Typically good people don’t complain and bring up something to a Superintendent, they just keep going about their business. However, to say things posted on here are just point blankly “untrue” is just shoving it under the rug and ignoring it. Nothing will happen. So in the end, Mr Luscombe is out and the good guys lose again. This petition and Mr Lambert’s email have only accomplished 1 thing: Mrs Prewitt and other’s involved in DMCS teacher departures (past and present) can just keep doing what they are doing with no accountability. Community beware: you have seen a glimpse into who some of these people are. Befriend them at your own peril. Or maybe you do want to befriend them? Not sure what the better route is. Just don’t say those who have spoken on here didn’t warn you about their character.

DMC is a very screwed up place, filled with fake people that create a false world to the students. Mr luscombe is an amazing man, and is sad that they have done this to other teachers beacuse they "need more money". VERY greedy. DMC is filled with lies and Duda is scared of the truth...getting rid of all the people who are real and truthful.

Has anyone heard how the Administrations meeting went? Has anything changed or happened since this petition was started? I saw someone mentioned boycotting the True Blue Gala. Is this going to be an organized event? Have people called and left messages and gotten anything in return? Has anything happened whatsoever?

I have a student that goes here and him and his groups of friends had an experience with Mrs Duda that I was not pleased with. They were being accused of doing something that was completely untrue and they were not confronted or told about the situation in anyway and just recieved consequences because of itOne of them had to go set up the meeting to figure out what was going on and they got told a different story multiple times by mrs Duda and she lied straight to there face and never gave an apology. What goes on behind the scenes at dmc is not Christian at all. All it is is favoritism and who they like and don’t like, and then mrs Duda sends an email to all the parents saying if you have a problem come talk to her about it when we can’t because they just think whatever they think is right is right and don’t care what anyone else says

Kacey I know how it feels to be bullied, I understand how you feel and you feel like the school didn't do anything but did you really ask people for help or anything like that? You say the people who donate money or last name means something to this school. My family donates a lot of money and helps this school out a ton. That feels like disrespect to me and my family because every body knows my last name from present, and past. I have 6 detentions and been kick out of class and don't have straight A's. You say my last name has to do with it. I don't know about that.

Well aren't you gossiping about Mrs.Prewitt and Mrs.Duda? If you think they have heart issues, why don't you go up and tell them or talk to them.Your just like them, like you say they are about gossiping, go talk to them in there face and tell them that instead of gossiping about them. Maybe look at your own heart.

All I hear is complaints about Luscombe from a lot of students all the time, of how hard he is and lazy. that goes back to the administration at all these complaints. Now since Luscombe didn't get his contract back, all these students are bashing Mrs.Prewitt and Duda. How does that work?

Please don't make assumptions on anonymous posts. I have not looked at this petition since I first signed it. The only reason I know that something is going on with this petition is because I just received 2 text messages to let me know I was being talked about. People - this is a petition to help Mr. Luscombe. If you want to do something about this issue, sign the petition. If you want to continue to do something about this issue, talk with your administration and the board at your school. As my original comment stated: I'm disappointed that Mr. Luscombe has not been asked back and signed this petition to support him in hopefully returning.

Thanks for piling on to a place you supposedly loved and affecting students that you supposedly loved by just adding fuel to this tire fire of this website.
