This store is a vital piece of independent trading here in Histon and Impington. Please enable them to stay by adopting an affordable rent for such a small trader to be able to afford.

Les Ward was the highlight of my time in Histon along with the Chopshop...it would be terrible for it to close! Now that I'm in London I have to resort to a farm delivery service to get the same quality of produce...and even then it's not the same as well as more expensive.

I lived in Histon for 6 months in the winter of 2015, and being able to buy fresh produce at Les Ward (and fresh meat from the Chopshop) was one of the highlights of my time there. Although I've moved back to London now, I really really hope Les Ward does not close. It's an essential part of the community!

Where does it stop? When all the independent small businesses are shut and the giants have taken over? It's about community, it's about preserving a quality of life for people now and in the future.

This is a community service and much much more than a local shop...If there is any fair play or equality for independent shop keepers that are the heart of a street please stop and think what you are doing to the young and old..Everyday we here how people are so isolated and lonely when a local shopkeeper can make such a difference just saying you're name....knowing what you prefer.the personal touch you don't receive in large stores.....The local shop is a life line and a tradition that doesn't differentiate between religion, age, colour or gender...Lets embrace a good tradition for all.

Les Ward is an asset to Histon and it would be a massive loss to see them forced out.

This is my favourite shop in the village. Their range and quality of fruit and veg is fantastic. Their avocados are the best I've ever had. I have a friend who comes from Norfolk for them.
